Congratulations to Esteban Barrera, Special Events Coordinator for GWC’s Maintenance & Operations, our Employee of the Month for November.
This was sent in with his nomination: “Esteban exemplifies great service with his professionalism and courtesy. Whenever he delivers items to our department, he always double checks to make sure we have all our items, he will always carry them into our storage room and stack them and also will ask if we need anything. He is a helpful individual. I was carrying some large items across campus recently and he happened to see me, immediately drove his cart to me and started loaded my items into the back. He is wonderful and needs to be officially recognized for going out of his way to help others. He does his job effectively and professionally and always does so with a kind word and smile. He is a joy to work with.”
