Congratulations to Charissa McCord, newly-appointed Curriculum Specialist, our Employee of the Month for February. Charissa has been with Golden West for 5 years as Course Assistant II before her recent promotion to Curriculum Specialist.
This was sent in with her nomination: “Charissa has made it a point to learn just about everything there is to know about student services on campus so that she can help students get the resources they need to be successful. She eagerly goes to any workshops offered on campus for professional development or to better understand our students. She even wants to be a club co-sponsor. It’s like she is a liaison for students and faculty to reach student services. As a course assistant, her services are immeasurable! “
