Congratulations to Alison Carlock, Staff Aide for the International & Intercultural Programs, GWC’s Employee of the Month for September.
This was sent in with her nomination: “Alison has been an incredible asset to International and Intercultural programs and to me personally. As a new full-time faculty I am still learning how to navigate campus policies and procedures. If it were not for Alison’s help I would not have been able to host a number of campus events for my classes. She helped me arrange the logistics of getting guest speakers to campus, providing refreshments, and advertising. She has helped me market our new class offering in communication studies and she coordinated an off-campus field trip. This summer she reached out to include me in the preparation for the Fall Intercultural Programs. Whenever I have a question about logistics she is there to help. I strive to create and engaging and dynamic classroom experience for my students and that would not be possible if it weren’t for the extraordinary work that Alison puts in for me. I cannot thank her enough.”
