Congratulations to Annie Nguyen, Campus Security Officer, GWC’s Employee of the Month for October.
This was sent in with her nomination: “Annie is always willing to help other employees with assistance on any task or project. She has helped immensely with the implementation of several facets of our recently completed security project. Annie was willing to work with the contractor to assist with the programming of the new classroom access cards. This was vital to the successful execution of the project and required her to quickly become familiar with the process and to create and program the cards for the faculty members prior to the beginning of the semester. Annie’s assistance was critical to the implementation of the project and her computer skills and ability to learn the specifics of this new system made her efforts absolutely essential. While she is always helping others on campus with routine tasks including students, staff and faculty, she additionally helps with orientation of new part-time officers and provides assistance to the office staff when needed. She really deserves to be recognized for her efforts.”
