11/2/15 Measure M Construction Update:

Public Safety/Community Education/Main Entry Project:  Framing and steel work ongoing at the building site.  Periodic road closures may occur due to deliveries.  Pedestrians and Drivers need to follow closure signs and be cautious as they travel around the construction site.  Main entry exit lanes will be closed from Monday 11/2 to Friday 11/6 for planting and concrete activities.  Exit will reopen Friday evening.

Campus Fiber Cabling/ New MDF Room Project:   Final work at manholes between the Old Library and Fine Arts still remains.  In the next couple of weeks there will be service trucks working near these manholes.  Pedestrians and Drivers need to follow closure signs and be cautious as they travel around these areas.

Student Services Project:  The installation of pipe will be begin this week in the trench area south of Cosmetology.  Pedestrians and Drivers need to follow closure signs and flagmen. This trenching and piping work will continue through the end of November.   The north access to the Humanities elevator is closed permanently.  Access from the south is the only available door to the elevator on the first floor.  This is due to the Financial Aid relocation as part of the Student Services project.

Signage Project:  Gothard sign work ongoing.   Waiting on confirmation from CVS for the work at McFadden/Goldenwest to start.    Waiting on DSA approval for Edinger/Goldenwest and parking lot entry sign work to start.
