Public Safety/Community Education/Main Entry Project: Large concrete pour at the building site today. Concrete trucks will be coming and going all day. The drive aisles around the building site are closed today. Cones and caution tape identify the areas that are closed. Noise level is expected to be moderate onsite. Main entrance and adjacent north and south entrances are closed for demo activities.
Campus Fiber Cabling Project: Contractors will be throughout the campus accessing building IT/Phone rooms and manholes. Backfill ongoing in the generator yard outside of Fine Arts as well as in front of Financial Aid and between Cosmetology and Fine Arts. Access will be limited during this work. Construction fencing at Main Street goes up today. Access to the Bookstore and Coffee Cart will be maintained. Pedestrians need to be cautious of traffic around the fencing as concrete trucks, dump trucks, asphalt deliveries will be taking place periodically near these areas.
