Public Safety/Community Education/Main Entry Project: Masonry work is ongoing at the Building site. The drive aisle just west of the building site will be closed on Monday, 8/31 to allow for steel work on the building. Pedestrians and Drivers need to follow closure signs and be cautious as they travel around the construction site. Work at the main entry is on hold for one more week to allow for better traffic flow for the start of the semester. Periodic road closures will happen once work starts back up. The new asphalt is required to cure for at least 30 days prior to receiving the slurry coat and permanent striping which will include the staff parking stalls.
Campus Fiber Cabling Project: Contractors will be throughout the campus accessing building IT/Phone rooms and manholes for testing of the new fiber system prior to turning over the room to our IT department for installation of equipment.
