New Student Life Coordinator

Therese GrandeWelcome Therese Grande to Golden West College!

Therese joined the Office of Student Life & Leadership as the Student Life Coordinator on July 5, 2017. Therese has over a decade of experience working in higher education. A Southern California native, Therese earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from New York University, where she then spent the next six years as a student affairs staff member; first as a Residence Hall Director and then as the Program Coordinator for NYU’s Faculty-In-Residence and Living-Learning Communities. Therese joined the Coast Community College District in March of 2013 working in the President’s Office at Orange Coast College and most recently served as the Curriculum Staff Specialist at OCC. Therese is entering the Master of Public Administration program at CSU Long Beach this fall and is an active member of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges.

Outside of work, you can find Therese playing weekly trivia nights, training for her next half-marathon, or road-tripping with her husband, Chris, and their rescue dog, Copperfield.
