Conference Highlights
To kick off the day, our special opening keynote speaker will be Dave Burgess, author of the book Teach Like a PIRATE: Increase Student Engagement, Boost Your Creativity, and Transform Your Life as an Educator. Then, participants will have a selection of breakout sessions where active learning techniques will be demonstrated by involving the participants in the learning process. A closing session will feature case studies on the effectiveness of learner-centered teaching and includes a raffle of great prizes. The conference begins at 8:15-9:00 am with registration/checkin/continental breakfast and ends at 4:00-4:30 pm with the closing session and raffle.
